What should I expect?
This two-day hands-on workshop, scheduled for September 20 and 21, 2019 from 9am-4pm, is designed to help you launch your practice from scratch. You can expect to learn effective business strategies that are immediately useful, including how to:
- Build a successful brand
- Market a thriving practice
- Develop comprehensive intake paperwork
- Create an attractive website
- Master administrative duties
- Learn about billing & finance management
- Establish fees
We invite only a handful of practitioners per workshop to ensure that each attendee receives specialized attention and space to build their brand and practice.
What will be covered in the workshop?
We will present the broad and detailed aspects of managing a private practice. Areas that will be covered include:
- Liability insurance
- Registering your business or LLC
- Where to market your practice and the use of social media
- Branding and logo design
- Determining your niche
- How to receive payments
- Website design
- Diversifying your practice
- Obtaining an NPI and EIN
- HIPPA platforms – email, notes, other correspondence
- Insurance vs. self-pay
- Professional support: attorney, supervision, accounting, bookkeeper
- Learning CPT codes, billing, superbills
Registration & Fees
How much does it cost to attend?
The workshop cost is $1500 and will include all New Jersey attorney-prepared intake paperwork ($500 value and can be modified and personalized), snacks and lunch on both workshop days, resources you can take with you to assist you in your efforts, and specialized attention to support you in your process.
We require $250 deposit to hold your spot as seats are limited.
